Story time with Grammy, Doonsey, and some of the other story characters!!

 T'was the Day After Christmas, and all through the house.
Grammy was reading - no one was stirring - they were as quiet as a mouse.
The kids were all listening, about "Doonsey's Adventure,"
Amazed when the Buddies appeared, that was a clencher.
Soferton, Ro, and O were there, in that book,
And they laughed when they saw themselves, "Wow! Oh look!"
As the story came to an end,
O asked, "Is Doonsey real, or pretend?"
"Oh, he's real," said Grammy with a grin. He now lives with Soferton, his house, the toy bin."

There was a beautiful article in yesterday's Sharon Herald, PA newspaper about 14-year-old, Taylor Galaska, who helped illustrate the children's story, "The Little Lambs and the Very Special Mission." This inter-generational project, written and also illustrated by the author, Rhonda Pagali, was completed in April 2013.  The story is dedicated to and written in honor of the 20 precious children and the 6 heroic teachers of Sandy Hook Elementary School.

In this story, a field of sweet, playful little lambs are called by God.  He needs their help to remind the people of Earth that He loves them very much.  He also needs the little lambs to send messages of love and kindness to Earth.  The little lambs agree to the mission and with their help, the Earth becomes a better place.

A special book for those who have lost a loved one
